Looking for a good software engineer who knows the Ruby on Rails framework. The application is live and used by customers. It needs continuous feature development, refactoring and (sometimes) bug fixing. Code is in good shape: written by Master Sc. software engineer, good rspec test suite, always refactored – it should stay that way with every new feature. Versioning in git, deployment to Heroku via Github pull requests. Good communication skills are a plus.

I am seeking an intelligent Rails developer who can help with implementing a partial redesign and implementing basic features on an ongoing basis. We use Ruby, Rails, MySQL, Bootstrap, jQuery; so you should have experience with all of those. The company is in the business of providing virtual legal services online. The application has been in production for several years and has a fairly large, but pretty well maintained code base. Looking for around 15-25 hours per week. We are quite cost conscious, so fancy, expensive developers won't work out.

Hi there, Looking for someone to help build a rather simple app MVP for Shopify Ecommerce stores. Compared to others that I have seen, it shouldn't be too difficult or time consuming - but that is something we will have to discuss prior to commencing work. Due to the nature of this platform, the project will be discussed in confidence upon review of applicants. Obviously depending on the success of the MVP, future work would be idea to modify and increase features.

I have a running RoR application which is working perfectly. I do not want to change the functionality. However I want to change the look and Feel and UI, which will not be more than 2-3 pages . One of the page will be the landing page and other the logged in page I have the design layout in mind you need to choose the theme appropriately and ensure that the existing functionality fit in the re-designed pages The requirement is urgent . You should be prepared to share your screen as the changes need to be done on the server directly As the RoR app resides in docker container in Ubuntu, you need to have experience in this job Apply only if you have done this work before and can commit to deliver within couple of days as job is very simple

Create a Ruby on Rails app, that given an input of the name of the city, display the 16 day weather forecast using the http://openweathermap.org/forecast16 API(need to request a free API Key). See this image for inspiration.http://cloud.addictivetips.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Forecast.png A good example of the flow would be, to show an text input, when the user enter a city name, a request is made to the API, which will return the city 16 days forecast This would show another page with the 16 days forecast and the simplest data like date and average temperature. Then when the user clicks on a specific day widget, brings up another page with the rest of the details like wind direction, precipitation, etc. Need at least 1 test (Integration/Components/Unit/Acceptance), a simple CI (Continuous Integration) server working and a CD (Continuous Deployment) server working (avoid Heroku if you can) Also i want the Ruby on Rails code and it deployed version Documents for self learning. : $100

I need some changes made on an exchange website I'm working on. The website is done for the most part, there's two main things I would like changed https://dew.exchange For the cryptocurrencies, when they are deposited they are automatically accepted and added to users accounts. However for withdrawals, the system currently requires the administrator to click a button in the admin panel, I would like to change this and have system automatically withdraw funds (without needing the admin to do it manually) You will need to test all cryptocurrencies to ensure withdraws and deposits are working There is also another step I want removed from the code called 'Verify Account' https://imgur.com/a/Kve5h I want to remove this feature completely also, as I do not plan on using it I'm not that familiar with the code myself, it was not written by me, but I'm looking for a RoR dev who will hopefully be able to understand it after looking at the documentation The majority of the website was built on this code with some modifications done to it https://github.com/peatio/peatio Documentation https://github.com/peatio/peatio/tree/master/doc In addition there are coins on the servers I need recovered, I believe I have all the private keys still, but I've been unable to recover them myself : $500

The project concerned below is Beespoke: a mobile app with three platforms: Users Service providers Admin The project is estimated to have been developed at 68% and is to be transferred to another developer to complete it at 100%. I have all documents in order to fully understand the project and highlight the next steps of development. Below is a summary of the project: Objective of the project: Users: • To enable users to book cleaners, fitness coach, petsitters and babysitters on a mobile app and • To allow users to book those service providers through their network. Service providers: • To allow service providers to improve and manage client prospection through their provider portal • To ensure service providers a complete transparency and freedom with their customers regarding invoicing and cancellations User’s journey with the app: Booking from the homepage after sign up : • Users would first select the service they would like at the address of their choice • They would then proceed with filtering to find the appropriate service provider • Then they would choose the provider of their choice among a list of providers • Users would finally request booking and wait for booking confirmation from the provider’s side • Users can also book provider through past bookings, favourite’s list and friends’ and communities’ list. My initial question is about the tech stack. Is the following feasible with you? General: Node.js 6.2.1 Ionic 1.3.0 Build system is custom: Webpack 2.1 that packages et optimize the files Babel to use ES2015 with the support of « rest spread » Postcss and sass for the CSS styles Several Cordova plugins have been used: Cordova-plugin-geolocation for geolocation Cordova-plugin-camera to access the camera Cordova-plugin-file to read files on the disk Backend Ruby 2.3.1 Rails 5.0 The base is PostgreSQL Some librairies: aasm for the state machine (payment, pending confirmation, canceled bookings, etc.) jbuilder the JSON APIs The tests are written with rspec Carrierwave (+ fog) to send the images The back-office is made with activeadmin library We start the services with : sidekiq for the providers rpush for the push notification We connect to the third party services with: Heroku to host the solution S3 Amazon to store the images Mandrill from Mailchimp to send emails Facebook for authentication. The first step to continue the development is to make changes and add elements on the navigation. We are ready to move asap and could send over all documentation to re-start the dev. Please let me know, Best, Thomas

We are a custom menswear store and we need a web application that will help us manage our back-end. The application must allow the customer to build a custom suit like indochino website: https://www.indochino.com/ We also need the application to support new and returning users and act as a CRM and database for customers who enter and make orders through our retail store, so we should be able to enter orders for customers manually on the back-end and integrate with our slack channel as well as shipstation. We can chat details and requirements.

I need a custom made unique HYIP script, not like all the shitty scripts are out there to purchase, but I need interactive, high converting HYIP custom build script for my cryptocurrency trading project, including: investment plans, calculators, payment getaways integrations, blockchain integration, EV greenbar SSL and everything. If you can also make a high converting design for it it would be good, I would order full package so after you finish I could launch ASAP.

Hey guys! One of our existing ROR devs has gone on maternity leave which is a shame as we have quite a fair few ROR requests. We run a subscription based web development business with over 300 clients and over 50 team members. We're looking for an excited Ruby on Rails developer who'd like to join our family for 40+ hours per week. We're a startup still so we can't pay a large amount p/h however this is a reliable position for ongoing work. We DONT want to hire agencies and are more interested in an individual freelancer who can act agile as a lot of our clients don't have full work scopes and it's more scrum your way around projects here and there. We need immediate commencement of work. Our previous ROR dev was India based so we were able to get them for 7aud per hour, so we don't have a super high budget, so even if you're learning your way through ROR we're happy to trial you out if you're looking to learn whilst you go! But you must have at least a basic knowledge base around ROR. Lowest bids interviewed first, anything that's wayyyy above the average wage for your country or completely just a budget blowout of our budget we'd need to not consider you unfortunately, so! We're looking for cheap countries who're willing to grow with us and more importantly work within a team! Other language stacks will be required as well, however right now ROR is the base knowledge for the team member that has left us in a bit of a pickle. FLUENT ENGLISH IS A MUST!!! And lowest bids interviewed first - Any bids above 10 will not even be read.
