Responsibilities

  • Assume the role of a senior technologist on multiple technologies (including Java, .Net, Ruby/Ruby on Rails etc) across software engineering, security, data interchange, data management etc.
  • Apply practical applications of agile development methods and lead software development teams in an Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery environment.
  • Demonstrate significant software development and infrastructure architecture experience in designing and architecting enterprise web applications.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the issues businesses face and experience working with them to create robust, scalable, elegant, flexible and relevant software solutions that truly transform industries.
  • Ability to work directly with senior IT groups including CTO office in an advisory role.
  • Provide operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex database management systems architected using a microservices framework
  • Leverage open source platforms, tools, databases, front-end frameworks, and middleware
  • Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have hands on experience executing the following activities:
  • Multiple architecture models: Microservices, Event Driven, AWS Cloud Native Architecture and Infrastructure Patterns, Containers, Service Mesh and API management platforms
  • Capturing technical requirements and defining technical solutions in service, conceptual, execution and /or technical views
  • Performing requirements traceability - operational and non-functional (e.g. horizontal & vertical scalability, performance, maintainability, load distribution, resilience and recovery)
  • Developing ConOps and /or Solution Approach Outlines
  • Designing and presenting solutions
  • Developing transformation roadmap
  • Programming Background with Java, Angular stack
  • Knowledge of Orchestration tools e.g. Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef and /or Terraform
  • Experience with improving performance on enterprise applications with large data
  • Experience in Test Driven and Behavior Driven Development frameworks
  • Experience with revision control systems such as Git/Github
  • Familiarity with container technologies
  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public trust clearance
